      Busuanga Island

      Busuanga Island is the largest in Calamian, and the second largest in the whole Palawan archipelago. It is divided into two municipalities: Busuanga and Coron. Busuanga has an airport called Busuanga Airport (USU), which is the main gateway to all of Calamian Islands. Coron town, on the other hand, has a pier.

      Coron Island is a separate island from Coron town. It’s the third-largest island and the main tourism hub of the whole island group. The place’s natural beauty is beyond words, everything about it is surreal—from the beautiful lagoons to the picturesque beaches. Popular activities include island hopping, snorkeling, and diving

      Culion Island

      Culion is always dubbed as an isolated island since it’s hardly accessible, but getting here is worth it. It has a rich history which can be seen in the museums and churches surrounding the area.

      Calauit Island

      This island will make your safari dreams come to life. Go to Calauit’s Safari Park and you’ll be welcomed by various species like zebras, giraffes, deer, and monkeys. You will need to ride a boat from Coron’s town proper to get here.

      Malcapuya Island

      Reaching Malcapuya island is a bit of a task. You’ll have to endure the rough seas before you can set foot on its white sand beach. Once you’re done beach bumming, come upon the island’s highest hill to get a viewpoint of the whole island. You can also spot other islands from afar.

      Banana Island

      While there are literally no yellow fruits in this place, you’ll go bananas with how breathtaking this island is. For starters, its deep waters house rich marine life—perfect for diving and snorkeling! You can also catch the sandbar during low tide.

      How to Get to Calamian Islands

          The main jump-off point to get to these islands is Coron. From the main tourist area, you can avail yourself of tours that will take you to the islands of your choice. 

          Manila to Coron

          Flying from Manila is the easiest way to get to Coron. You can book a direct flight with Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines, and Skyjet. If you prefer to travel by sea, you can book a ferry from Manila to Coron. Click here to check for flights and ferries

          El Nido to Coron
