While it is easily reached va land, air and sea, travelling here is a little harder than when you go to its neighbor, Puerto Princesa. In fact, the latter will be your jump-off point. But trust us, it’s worth it. Here are some travelling options:
From El Nido Airport

If you’re looking for a direct flight from Manila to El Nido, this option is for you. Also known as Lio Airport, this privately-owned airport is exclusively operated by AirSwift. This is for those who have a hefty budget and zero patience with long road rides. They have regular flights from Manila (3-6 departures daily) from Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 4 (NAIA-4). Travel time is about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Upon arrival at the airport, you can a van via your accommodation, or take a local tricycle taxi straight to your hotel. The main downtown El Nido area is approximately 10 minutes away from El Nido Airport.

Cherry Bus travels daily from Puerto Princesa to El Nido and vice versa. The trip starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 9 p.m. (Puerto Princesa to El Nido) while the back and forth (El Nido to Palawan) starts at 7 a.m. and ends at 9 p.m. Fare costs around Php 385 for ordinary and Php 480 for airconditioned.
