IWantSeats is an online booking platform for solely buses in the Philippines. They provide instant confirmation for bus tickets.
How to Book with IWantSeats
Step 1: Search
Enter your place of origin, destination, departure date, and the number of passengers. Once done, click search to see all available trips.
Step 2: Select
You will be redirected to a page with a list of departures. For each departure, the price, travel time, departure time, arrival time, and type of bus is displayed. Choose your preferred trip by clicking “Book Seats”. Please be mindful of your booking summary on the right side. Click “Continue” to proceed with your booking.
Step 3: Log In
Before payment, a small pop-up will ask you to log in to your IWantSeats account. If you don’t have one yet, you will have to sign up for one. After signing in, your booking summary will be shown with all the trip details. Seat selection is the next step.
Step 4: Payment
The available payment options for IWantSeats are the following: bank deposit (Chinabank, BDO, BPI), ECPAY, Paypal, and TagCash. A convenience booking fee of around 30 PHP is charged per ticket. Take note that there may be additional fees depending on your chosen payment method.
After completing your transaction, upload proof of payment to your IWantSeats account or send IWantSeats an e-mail. You will be given 48 hours to settle all fees and to send proof of your successful transaction. Should you fail to do so, your booking shall expire.
Step 5: Confirmation
You will receive an e-mail from IWantSeats confirming your reservation. Vouchers will be sent to you as well. Print out all vouchers and bring valid IDs to present at the bus terminal on your travel date.
