Dumaguete City is now welcoming all tourists, returning local residents (RLR), authorized persons outside residence (APOR), returning overseas Filipinos (ROF), and overseas Filipino workers(OFW). Despite IATF’s decision to simplify local travel protocols, Dumaguete City continues to require travelers to present acceptance certificates before entry.
Requirement & Entry Procedure:
Step 1: Register online via the government website.
Step 2: Submit a clear copy of the negative RT-PCR Swab Test result from a DOH-accredited test center. The test must be taken 72 hours before the travel date. A negative RT-PCR Saliva Test result will be accepted, but only by Philippine National Red Cross.
Step 3: Receive the acceptance certificate via e-mail within 24 hours of submission.
Step 4: Travel to Dumaguete City via land, sea, or air.
Step 5: Pass symptom screening at the point of entry. Travelers with symptoms of COVID-19 will be transferred to an isolation facility. Asymptomatic travelers do not have to quarantine.
Dumaguete city maintains its travel requirements to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus.
