Cebu South Bus Terminal

To fully experience Cebu, one must also explore Oslob and Moalboal. Getting to Southern Cebu has always been straightforward thanks to Cebu City’s South Bus Terminal (CSBT). Although many improvements can be made at this transportation hub, it gets you where you need to go.

How to Get to Cebu South Bus Terminal

Address: N. Bacalso Avenue, Cebu City

From Mactan Airport, the fastest way to get to Cebu South Bus Terminal is via taxi. If you’re travelling with a small group or have bulky luggage, you might want to consider this option. Taxi fare is expected to range from 200 to 300 PHP.

Other than taxis, you can ride MyBus to SM Cebu or Parkmall for 50 PHP. There is a 30 minute interval in between buses. At both malls, you can catch a 01K jeep to Elizabeth Mall. The Cebu South Bus Terminal is right next to it, so just walk on over. Jeepney fare should be about 10 PHP.

Another option to get to Cebu’s South Bus Terminal would be via Sugbo Transit Express Bus. This service runs from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a bus departing every hour. It only costs 40 PHP from Mactan Airport to CSBT. Other stops in this route include: Pacific Mall, Robinsons Galleria, and Cebu North Bus Terminal.

Cebu South Bus Terminal Facilities

At first glance, the terminal looks like a parking lot for buses. But once inside, you’ll find that the CSBT is equipped with facilities for passenger comfort and convenience.

There are ticketing counters where you can purchase bus tickets. Soon, a new centralized ticketing system will be in place to automate this process. While waiting for your trip, take a seat at the air conditioned waiting areas. Television screens are mounted to keep you entertained. Several restrooms, food stalls, and souvenir shops can be found in the vicinity. Arrivals and departures are announced on the PA system.
